2008 TOEIC INFORMATION

Introduction

The TOEIC® (Test of English for International Communication) assesses English language ability in a workplace or business context. The TOEIC® Test is the most widely used English language test in the world. More than 3000 companies, employers, colleges, universities and International English Programs recognize the TOEIC® as a measurement of ability to communicate in English.

The TOEIC® is a 200 question, multiple choice reading and listening test. The first 100 questions are listening questions, and are delivered by audiotape. The second 100 questions are reading questions. Both the listening and reading questions have several item types (photo recognition, short conversations, error recognition, reading comprehension, etc.). The test takes approximately 2 1/2 hours.

After completing the test at an open test center site, you will receive your test results by mail within 7-10 business days. Your score is valid for one year.
